The complimentary sherry in our cozy garden room added a personal touch, and the incredible breakfast spread left us wanting more. A truly refreshing escape!

Our room was in desperate need of cleanliness. There were cobwebs in the corners, and the smell of cooking onions made me feel nauseous. Paying £90 for one night without breakfast felt exceptionally overpriced for what we received, particularly given the state of the room and the lack of comfort.

Historic character charm

Had an amazing stay with friends! The en-suite room was super comfy, and we loved the thoughtful touches like sherry and tea. We enjoyed exploring the nearby park and dining at the great pub next door. Breakfast was unbelievable! Highly recommend it for a fun group getaway.

The only downside was the noise from the road, which could be a bit distracting at times.

Not all rooms are en-suite!!! Beds may feel too tight in some rooms!!! Limited public transport options nearby could hinder exploring!!!

this country house b&b is just amazin! the location is beautiful n tranquil. The hosts really take care of u. my room was comfy with great little touches like sherry and bisquits. breakfast was like a feast, everything u could want n super delicious. perfect spot to unwind n close to manchester airport too!

The room had a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Enjoyed relaxing with the provided electric kettle and quality tea. The garden was lovely with sun umbrellas for shade. Breakfast was a highlight with a gourmet selection that kept me full all morning. Definitely a hidden gem.

great stay but minor shortcomings

The en-suite double room was beautifully decorated and offered a very comfortable bed. The personal touches in the room, such as complimentary snacks and high-quality toiletries, added a nice touch to my experience.

The Ground Floor Garden Room was cozy and had its own entrance, which felt nice. The bed was super comfy, and the view of the garden was a lovely touch. It came stocked with coffee, tea, water, and biscuits. A complimentary decanter of sherry! The shower had strong pressure, and the room was spotless. Just a bit tight on space, but not really an issue. Perfect for a restful stay.

great access to parks and delightful walking trails nearby

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this exceptional country house, especially with Dunham Massey just a pleasant 10-minute walk away and its stunning grounds providing the perfect backdrop for a weekend stroll.

Super cozy getaway!

Just had a lovely night here! The place was super clean and the bed was sooo comfy. Breakfast was top-notch, all local stuff cooked perfectly. Even loved being right next to that cute pub. Only thing was the bathroom was a bit outta the way, but it was worth it for the charm.
